Settings

Open Settings from the header or the account menu. In a book, Aa or Settings in the account menu opens the same settings beside the page.

• Reading: text Size, Flow (Scroll or Paged) and Mode (Light, Dark or Auto), which stay on this device, then the Layout and Theme lists. Pick one to use it; ⋯ beside each has Edit…, Duplicate, Rename… and Delete…. See Text size, Layouts and Themes.
• Books on this device: downloads for offline reading. See Reading offline.
• Chat AI model (signed in): the model your account uses for the Book Guide and characters. It is set by your account and cannot be changed here.

This book

When you open Settings in a book, This book shows Reading, Not reading or Finished, with Star, Stop reading or Mark as reading, and Mark as finished or Mark as not finished. None of them moves your place. Signed in, This book also offers:

• Start over moves your place to the beginning and hides beats, recaps and character details again. Notes, chats, the star and Finished are kept.
• Erase reading data… permanently deletes every Book Guide conversation, mark, note and reading position for this book and clears Finished. It cannot be undone.

Updates and version

The bottom of Settings shows which version you are running: its Build (or iOS app) and the server's release. When ManyNote has been updated since the page opened, it also offers A newer version is ready. Reload.

ManyNote never reloads a book you are reading. If an update arrives while a page is open, A new version of ManyNote is ready. appears when you come back to the tab: choose Reload to switch now or Later to keep reading. Opening a book or My Books after an update switches to the new version by itself, before anything loads. Reading changes that have not synced yet stay on the device either way.
