Book Guide usage limits

Book Guide answers and dictation draw on a monthly allowance. Help answers do not.

• Your plan includes about 300 Book Guide answers a month. Dictation uses the same allowance by the minute. The allowance resets at the start of each month (UTC).
• After about 60 answers within 5 hours, answers wait a few seconds first and show The Guide is catching up….
• Near a limit, the message box shows Your Guide usage is nearing a plan limit. Account and billing shows a Guide usage bar and when it resets.

Limit messages

• The Guide has reached this period's limit. Try again after the reset date shown.
• The Guide is catching up. or The Guide is busy with your other requests. Wait a moment and try again.
• Please resolve the payment issue… or Please update your payment method… A payment needs attention; see Plans and billing.
• The Guide is paused for now. The team has paused the Book Guide, characters and dictation for everyone, usually during a provider problem. Your allowance is not used; try again later. ManyNote Help pauses at the same time and says so.
