Help

How can we help?

Answers about your shelf, the Book Guide, plans, and billing, plus a direct line to the Manynote team.

Ask for help

Sign in to ask for help.

Signed-in readers can chat with Manynote Help and send the team a message about billing, bugs, or feedback. The topics below, including sign-in help, are open to everyone.

Using Manynote

Signing in

Sign in opens a hosted sign-in page where you enter the email address you use with Manynote. Password resets and one-time codes happen on that page, not inside the app.

Manynote Reader is in early access. New accounts are created from the sign-up link on the home page.

If a sign-in link expired or the page shows an error, start again from Sign in. Links are single use, and a second attempt replaces the first.

If you cannot sign in at all, use the sign-in retry link on the error page; there is no separate email channel yet.

Your shelf

My Shelf holds the books you are reading. The free plan keeps up to 3 books on the shelf. Books you are still adding count toward that limit. When the shelf is full, remove a book to add another.

Add a book from the ManyNote Library, which lists free editions, or upload an EPUB you own from My Shelf. Some library editions are still being prepared; adding one shows it as preparing and it appears on your shelf when it is ready.

Uploads accept an EPUB up to 100 MB. You can start up to 3 new uploads per day, with 1 processing at a time.

Reading

Open a book from My Shelf. Your place is saved as you read and follows you to any device where you are signed in.

Settings controls how books look on this device: paged or scrolling flow, text size, reading color for light and dark mode, and the accent color. Saved Looks bundle an appearance and sync across your signed-in devices.

Inside a book you can search the text, highlight passages, add notes, and follow the story timeline, which tracks how far you have read.

Book Guide and characters

The Book Guide is the conversation panel inside a book. Ask about what you have read, or switch to a character from the book and talk with them directly.

No Spoilers mode answers only from the pages you have already read. Full Book mode may discuss the whole book. Change the mode from the conversation panel.

A book needs a prepared guide before conversations open; My Shelf shows “Preparing book guide…” while that happens. Up to 3 books can be prepared per calendar month on each plan.

Conversations use credits. Each answer costs 2 credits, reading an answer aloud costs 1 credit per 100 words, and dictating a question costs 2 credits per minute of audio. The free plan includes 600 credits per calendar month. Using more than 120 credits within 5 hours adds a short delay before each answer. Usage resets at the start of each month, UTC.

Plans and billing

Every reader starts on the free plan. Account and billing shows your current plan, how full your shelf is, and how much of this month's Guide usage you have used.

Paid plans are not offered yet. Everything currently available is included in the free plan.

Prepaid credit packs are not offered yet.

If a payment fails, Account and billing shows a notice and Guide conversations pause until the payment method is updated. Plans are for personal reading; automated bulk extraction is not permitted.

For a charge you do not recognize, a refund, or anything else about payments, send the team a message with the Billing category. The team replies by email to your sign-in address. The help assistant cannot see or change payment details.

Reaching the team

Signed-in readers can ask the help assistant on this page about using Manynote, plans, and limits. It answers from this help content and your account summary.

To report a bug, send feedback, or raise a billing or account problem, use Message the team on this page. You can attach your recent help conversation so the team sees what you already tried.

Readers who cannot sign in should retry from the home page; the team is notified of sign-in failures through its own monitoring.
