My Books

My Books lists every book you are reading, have finished, starred, uploaded or written notes in. Search at the top looks through your books by title and author; to find new books, use the ManyNote Library.

Under each title, a row shows the book's status. The star is yours to set: select it to star or unstar the book. The other icons are lit when on:

• Reading: on when you open a book. Turn it off with Stop reading in the book's menu; your place, notes and chats stay, and opening the book turns it on again.
• On this device: the book is downloaded here and opens offline.
• In the cloud: the book is in your account or the ManyNote Library: a cloud when it is shared (a library book, or an upload that matches one), a lock when it is private to you. Books imported from a file on this device show it off.
• Book Guide: the book has a Book Guide.
• Finished: you marked it finished. Finishing never moves your place, and reading on does not clear it.

Below the row, a line shows your reading position. When the book is not on this device, the line is empty: your place is saved, but how far you are shows once the book is downloaded.

Choose All, or combine Reading, Finished, Starred, On this device, Book Guide, My Uploads and With notes. Uploads that need a Book Guide offer Prepare.

A book's menu

Select More actions on a book for Continue reading or Start reading, Download to this device or Remove from this device, Stop reading or Mark as reading, and Mark as finished or Mark as not finished. Your uploads also offer Remove upload; see Uploading your own EPUBs. A book leaves My Books when nothing keeps it there: not reading, not finished, not starred, not an upload and without notes. To delete your place, notes and chats for a book, use Erase reading data… in Settings from inside the book.

As a guest, My Books is kept on this device only. Offline, it shows the books on this device and Needs a connection to open for books that are not downloaded.
